The city of Noida, in the Delhi region of India, hopes to have fewer power cuts this summer, after it will receive 92 new transformers of 400 kV capacity by the end of March.
Currently, 72 transformers are being installed in several villages across Noida.
Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. (PVVNL) is carrying out the installation and management process, and will also be performing maintenance work on 80 substation.
